Capote Star Philip Seymour Hoffman Dead

Hollywood actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, who won an Oscar for in 2005 for his superlative performance in Capote, was found dead in his Manhattan apartment.

The 46-year-old actor was reportedly battling a drug addiction problem and died to due to apparent drug overdose.

Hoffman had checked into rehab and suffered relapses on a few occasions in the past. According to sources, at the time of reporting his death, a needle was found injected into his arm.


Apart from several critically acclaimed films, Philip Seymour Hoffman was also part of mainstream, blockbuster franchises such as The Hunger Games and Mission Impossible.
